The charity Children's Aid invites you to join us in helping to give needy children and youngsters from Africa, Asia and Latin America. There was once a girl who used to lead her blind mother around the town where they lived in Africa, to beg. The girl did this until she was 12 years old. Then she met a leader from Children's Aid. We replaced her begging income and paid for her to have private classes in French, Dressmaking, and Computing skills. Her childhood was restored to her and she became an attractive young lady and got a job marketing products in a large supermarket. In Bolivia a young lad was unable to remain in dentistry school because the family had run out of money; Children's Aid stepped in and sponsored him to complete his course; today he has his own dentistry practice. We treat our youngsters as if we were their own fathers. Indeed many look on us like a father figure. We really change our youngsters lives, enabling them to escape the vicious circle of poverty and study to become skilled and able to support themselves. The picture below shows a poor child from Mali. He is one of the five hundred million children living under the bondage of severe poverty, who all need our help.
